Do Lawyers Train For Different Specialties In Law School?

Being a lawyer takes so much guts. You may not think this, but it is like preparing yourself in law school since your primary years until you graduate college. Law school is totally different though from the rest of your educational stages but even graduating from it, gives you so much self-fulfillment. Not everyone understands of course as law school is not for everybody but those who have gotten a taste of it, would simply say they have gotten their minds blown. You will never understand until you are in it to win it!

What you learn in law school

Law school is like the uterus where the zygote is formed into becoming a fetus and eventually comes out as a beautiful baby. Being law school just gives you the rush you never had in your pre-law education. You laugh, you cry, you go crazy – all the emotions just rush in. Yes, it just goes to you in a rush and it depends on how to deal with it. So what do you learn in law school technically? Everything.

  • Basic law
  • All the branches of the law
  • How to be a good lawyer
  • How to pass the bar

You learn so many things in law school just like the above mentioned but you do not get to be trained on the specialty you want. Law school is basically just the training ground for all the branches of law but you get to choose your specialty and train for it after you graduate from law school. You get to train for it once you become an actual esquire.

What are the specialties or fields in law?

  • Family law
  • Marine law
  • Bankruptcy law
  • Business law
  • Civil rights law
  • Criminal law
  • Entertainment law
  • Environmental law
  • Family law
  • Health law
  • Immigration law
  • Intellectual property law
  • International law
  • Labor law
  • Military law
  • Personal Injury Law
  • Real Estate Law
  • Tax Law
  • Estate Planning

There are so many fields in law school so one gets to train for it and chooses his or her specialty once he or she is starting to practice. You can also be expert in one field but of course, this depends on what you can take in court and in reality.

My personal pick is business law. I consider the rest either boring or dangerous. Also, I love the thought that business law can make me rich in a blink. Money always makes the world go round!
